The barber

Kawzacutz is a private barber studio based in Mt Roskill, Auckland, created to give every client a more personal and relaxed barbering experience. Every appointment is one-on-one, giving me the time and space to focus entirely on you and your haircut.

With 10 years of experience behind the clippers, barbering has become more than just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.

I first got into barbering from watching YouTube and seeing how satisfying it was to transform someone’s hair. Once I picked up the clippers myself, I knew this was what I wanted to do.

Over the years, I’ve worked with all kinds of styles, from trending fades and clean classics to tapers, burst fades, textured hairstyles and beard line-ups. But for me, it’s not just about following a style. I pay close attention to detail and take the time to understand what my clients like, what they don’t like, and any problems they may have with their hair. From there, I tailor each cut to suit them.

My goal is simple — for every client to leave my chair feeling fresh, confident and genuinely happy with their haircut.

I created my own private studio because I enjoy having my own creative space, while also making things more convenient for both me and my clients. Having one chair means I can give each client more time, less distractions and my full attention throughout their appointment.
